Desire to find a good home for a good magazine is strong

Recently I scanned posting across a number of Freecycle sites and found hundreds of listings over the course of just a few weeks for magazines looking for a new home. It served as a remarkable desire for people to share the magazines they love with others. As we grow and establish KinderHarvest magazine recycling for literacy programs in these communities, we will bask in this generosity.

  • Santa Barbara School of Squash (SBSOS)

    Serves: Students from 4th to 12th grade
    Needs: Magazines for 36 students year round
    Magazines Requested: Any magazines about nature, sports, education, travel, or wildlife

  • Remsterville Learning Center

    School
    45 preschool students, 45 adult readers with high school education, and 20 teens
    Bridgeton, NJ, USA
    Needs: 100 magazines
    Magazines Requested: Any magazines geared towards parents, children, families, and education.

  • Sunshine Acres Children’s Home School

    501(c)(3) Charity, School or Library
    Serve children ranging from 1st grade to college
    Mesa, AZ, USA
    Needs: 100 magazines
    Magazines Requested: any history, science, outdoors, economic, and any other educational magazines.
