9/12 – Need help sorting a mountain of mags for literacy

WHAT: We need help sorting magazines for delivery to literacy programs for at-risk readers

WHEN: Two shifts in Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm and 1 to 4 pm.

WHERE: 119 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd – Downtown Madison WI

WHY: We have thousands of recycled magazines for literacy, and need to sort and bundle them to match literacy needs.

    Needs: Enough magazines for 1-20 low level readers and 1-20 medium level readers from the months of August through June.

    Needs: Magazines for 150 students from September 15 to May 15.
    Magazines Requested: Science, current events, animals, bikes, sports, books, writing, national geographic, track, space and astronomy, aviation week, smithsonian, sports illustrated
