Sunshine Acres Children’s Home School

Sunshine Acres is more than a home, we are family. Established in 1954, Sunshine Acres has been home to over 1,600 children. Sunshine Acres Children’s Home School’s mission is to provide a wholesome, loving, Christian home for children who are separated from their parents and help them establish long-term relationships with stable parental figures, preparing them for success in adult life.

Our literacy objectives are  to provide for the emotional, social, physical, educational, and spiritual support for the children, so they may learn to manage their own affairs along with maximizing the development of their potential, abilities,  and interests.Sunshine Acres believes that magazines will help children to broaden and build on what they are learning and also to spark interest in the outdoors, science, finance, and history.
