Wave City Care: Shine Program

Our Shine program helps quip girls with the abilities to identify themselves as valuable with much to contribute to society, develop decision making and problem solving skills, understand they can have a positive influence in their world, and to identify personal desires and strengths to motivate them to set and achieve personal goals.

Part of our program offers a session in which girls make dream collages from magazines. A dream collage is a visual representation of one’s hopes and dreams and is a powerful tool that can inspire, strengthen, and encourage girls to discover their dreams and desires. With this, we have girls hone in on the concept “if you knew you could not fail, what would you do?”. We are always in need for magazines to help sustain this valuable part of our program.
